Nam S. Pai
Project Engineer with C. W. Howe Partners since April 2006
Nam was born and raised in a small rural town in South Korea. At the age of 16, he immigrated to Los Angeles with his family. He attended
U.C. San Diego, completing focus sequences for both civil structure and earthquake engineering and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Structural
Engineering in June, 2004. Immediately following graduation, he took a job at a structural engineering firm as a design engineer in Los
Angeles where he obtained valuable hands-on experience for his trade.
In April, 2006, Nam was asked to join C. W. Howe Partners as a Staff Engineer. He was soon promoted to Project Engineer and works today
on a variety of projects including modern and conventional homes and commercial buildings.
Nam is an avid Dodger fan; he watches the games on television and attends stadium games. In his spare time, he plays basketball and tennis
with friends, and reads about Korean art and history.
