​​Seeking Experienced Structural Revit BIM Modeler

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of structural drafting/modeling experience

• Advanced proficiency in Revit Structure, including creating and modifying structural models

• Ability to produce framing plans, foundation plans, sections, elevations, and details in Revit and create standards.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, including Xrefs, layers, blocks, templates, and drawing standards

• Ability to work from engineer markups, sketches, PDFs, and existing AutoCAD/Revit files

• Strong understanding of structural construction documents and detailing

• Understanding of wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structural systems

• Experience working for a structural engineering firm, preferably on residential projects

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet deadlines

•  Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

• Generally 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility depending on commute

• Full-time, in-office —no remote or hybrid work for the first 12 months.  Hybrid schedule may be implemented after 12 month depending on performance.

The successful candidate must be able to read and understand structural engineering plans and produce accurate construction documents from engineer markups with minimal supervision. Your expertise will help set up construction documents in Revit, create standards, streamline design workflows and deliver precise construction drawings that meet project specifications.

​Structural Engineering Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering

• Coursework in Concrete, Steel, Timber, and Foundation Design

• 6 months – 3 years of post-undergrad design experience

• EIT certification preferred

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/ArchiCAD a plus

• Strong work ethic, organization, and communication skills

• U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship needed within 5 years)

• Resides in the Los Angeles area

​​Civil Engineering Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering

• Coursework in: Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology & Hydraulics, Water Resources, Environmental Design, Geotechnical, Civil Engineering

• 0 – 3 years of post-undergrad design experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D a plus

• Strong work ethic, organization, and communication skills

• U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship needed within 5 years)

• Resides in the Los Angeles area
