HISTORIC HARADA HOUSE AND INTERPRETIVE CENTER

C.W. Howe Partners is providing structural engineering for the historic Harada House Museum, a landmark public project. Work includes stabilizing and retrofitting the original 1886 two-story structure and its 1916 addition under the 2025 California Historic Building Code, replacing failing foundations, and rehabilitating an adjacent 1915 structure into a new interpretive center. Site engineering also includes grading, drainage, and cellar pump sump design to ensure long-term preservation.
