MILLARD HOUSE RESTORATION
C.W. Howe Partners successfully completed the structural restoration of the roof and balcony of the historic Millard House, designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1923 in Pasadena’s Prospect Historic District. In 1976, the home was added to the National Register of Historic Places, recognized for its architectural, engineering, and landscape significance. C.W. Howe first conducted a thorough inspection to assess the condition of the structural elements and their deterioration, subsequently developing a structural restoration plan that honored the building’s historic features and preserved its overall character. Throughout the restoration process, clear communication was maintained with the Architect, Eric Lloyd Wright, and the Historic Rehabilitation Contractor.
